Hi, I'm Melissa - Braid artist, sparkle enthusiast and the hands behind Braids & Sparkles. With over 30 years as a hairstylist and a deep love for faires, festivals and vintage treasures, I created this business to blend creativity, connection and a little old world magic. I'm also a proud special needs mom and multi stream entrepreneur, building a business that's flexible, family centered, and full of heart. Whether I'm styling hair at a Renaissance fair, party, wedding, or curating the perfect vintage hairpin, I believe beauty should be fun, expressive and a little bit enchanting.
